Will the BLUETTI AC180 run a refrigerator?
Check your fridge. The BLUETTI AC180 covers a fridge's running draw and the 2200 W starting figure in one chart, but not the 2900 W in another. Runtime is about 18 hours at average draw.
Check: about 18 h
On a refrigerator's average draw of 52 W. Formula: 1,152 Wh x 0.85 / load W.
The checks
| Check | Station | Refrigerator | Result |

| Average | 52 W | Median annual energy use of 2986 ENERGY STAR certified full-size (compact = No) residential refrigerators, 457 kWh a year, divided by 8760 hours (457 / 8.76 = 52 W) | [6] |
A fridge's compressor needs a burst of power to start, and that is where the AC180 is closest to its limit. BLUETTI lists 1800 W of rated output and a 2700 W surge.
The running draw is no problem: generator charts put a fridge at 700 to 725 W. The start is less clear. Champion's chart gives 2200 W starting, which fits under 2700 W. Generac's chart works out to 2900 W in total, which does not. Your fridge may start lower than these generator chart figures, but we cannot confirm that, so we mark it "Check".
On energy the AC180 does well for its size. The median full-size ENERGY STAR fridge uses 457 kWh a year, an average of 52 W. BLUETTI's manual puts the inverter efficiency above 85%, so at 0.85 the 1152 Wh battery lasts about 18 hours from full.
The simplest test is at home: with the AC180 charged, plug the fridge in and let the compressor start. If it holds, it will keep holding. Add solar at up to 500 W to stretch past a day.

Questions
Can the BLUETTI AC180 run a full-size fridge?
It covers the running draw easily. The starting surge is close to its 2700 W limit, so test it with your fridge.
How long does the AC180 run a fridge?
About 18 hours at the median ENERGY STAR average of 52 W.
Runtime calculator
Runtime (hours) = battery Wh x inverter efficiency / load W
Efficiency is the share of battery energy that reaches the outlet. Where the maker does not publish it we use 0.85. Average W is for loads that cycle on and off, like a fridge; leave it blank to use running watts. Starting surge assumes one motor starts at a time. How the estimates work.
